The most unspoilt region in Scotland. A lifetime here and the views around each corner still take your breath away. Any time of year you are in the company of nature at its best. Walk up to the castle from the village and see the Kyle and the mountains in a 360 degree panorama which can only be described as truly awesome.

Cross the Kyle Causeway and turn right toward Melness and you will end up at Talmine beach with it's white sand and small fishing harbour.

Follow the rugged coastline west towards Durrness and see the beautiful Loch Hope and Loch Eribol.

Take the road East and arrive at the historic town of Thurso, passing lochs, forests and wilderness on the way.
